Youth Soccer Coach Manhattan Soccer Club – North (Westchester) Pleasantville, NY 10570 Manhattan Soccer Club is the largest and most comprehensive soccer club in New York City and neighboring Westchester County, offering all levels of development and competition from ages 4 to 23 to over 1,000 families. Every training session is run by licensed, professional coaches who follow a curriculum that develops both the player and the person. WYSL, EDP, NYCFC DL, NPL, ECRL & ECNL.

We are hiring for competitive travel team coaches that will oversee teams that compete in

WYSL, EDP & NYCFC DL

for U8 through U12. We are also seeking pre-travel coaches that will oversee programming for players that are 4 through 7 years old that will participate in training sessions and weekend festivals. Job Description Pre-Travel Soccer coaches will instruct 60-75-minute classes during the week. These coaches must be able to travel within a 45-minute radius of NYC and Westchester County to participate in our weekend festivals programming. Travel Soccer coaches will instruct 2-3 90-minute training sessions for our Travel Teams that are composed of 11-22 players. Primarily league gameday responsibilities are typically within 20-45 minutes radius of NYC and Westchester County and our teams participate in regional tournaments. Coaches are responsible for weekly communication with teams/parents, session planning, seasonal player evaluations, and field setup/breakdown. This will be a 10-12 month contract from the end of August through the completion of the team’s season, which is typically mid-late June. Requirements Over the age of 18 Minimum USSF ‘Grass Roots’ or equivalent coaching license for our Youth Academy Head Coaches. We prefer USSF ‘D’ licenses are above for Youth Academy Head Coaches. Assistant Coaches and Pre-Travel Coaches will need to complete their USSF grass roots coaching courses or equivalent before starting. Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required) Coaching experience with youth players U5-U12 and must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
