Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Head Coach Women’s Soccer Included but are not limited to, all aspects (in traditional and non-traditional seasons) of coaching, planning, directing, developing and managing a successful program including conditioning, recruiting, scouting, scheduling, travel, equipment, budget management, fundraising, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, etc.
Ensure compliance with NCAA, Atlantic East Conference and university policies and procedures.
Meet recruiting goals as established by the Director of Athletics and Recreation
Achieve and maintain certification for CPR/AED and First Aid
Monitor team fundraising account.
Attend department staff meetings and university functions.
Represent university at conference meetings.
Develop and maintain alumni relations for the promotion of the program.
Represent the University and its athletics program, with honesty, integrity and sportsmanship at all times, to various institutional programs and students, parents and families, the general public, alumni and external agencies.
Work with various departments and personnel at the university to aid in the development of a positive student-athlete experience.

Director of Athletics and Recreation Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations Manager Aid the Director of Athletics and Recreation in all decisions regarding policy, vision for the future and day-to-day operations.
Acts as a key decision-maker instrumentally involved with the athletics department.
Strategizes ways to support and manage gender equity and Title IX plans and issues.
Provide oversight, guidance, and direction to all sports programs.
Serve on search committees for coaches, staff and athletic administrators as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Prepare and conduct an orientation program that provides information on Athletic Department policies and procedures for all new departmental employees.
Responsible for practice and intramural scheduling of Immaculata athletic facilities.
Serve as the mentor of the cheerleading team.
Responsible for updating the campus wide Mazevo system with athletic events.
Identifies quality control issues with game day operations and provide solutions.
Responsible for scheduling and training of Game Day Management staff.
Represent the University at the conference level.
Required to attend and/or coordinate department attendance at university functions (Open House, ASD, NSO, Athlete Move-in, etc.)
Create, plan and organize an athletic department run social event fundraiser each semester.
Create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.
Performs responsibilities as Game Manager as assigned.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or equivalent related work experience
1 – 3 years of supervisory experience in an athletic department or student activities department, preferably in a college/university setting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with time sensitive projects, work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and remain pleasant and professional.
Evening and weekend work is required.
