Job Description:
Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio is seeking a passionate and experienced Advanced Acrobatics Teacher or Gymnastics Coach to join our team for the 2025-2026 season. This is a part-time Saturday-only position located at our Warwick or Smithfield Rhode Island studios. We’re looking for someone who not only brings strong technical skills but also knows how to make learning fun, age-appropriate, and supportive for children. CDDS is a positive and nurturing environment where students grow not only as dancers but as confident individuals.
Responsibilities:
Teach intermediate and advanced-level acrobatics/gymnastics classes to children and teens Create safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans Encourage proper technique, flexibility, strength, and progression Spot students safely and effectively Foster a fun, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate positively with students, parents, and studio staff
Qualifications:
Prior experience teaching advanced acrobatics or gymnastics (required) Strong knowledge of skill progressions, safety, and spotting techniques Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor Passion for working with children in a fun and supportive way Reliable and punctual with strong classroom management skills
Schedule:
