Position Description Advertised Job Summary Head Baseball Coach, USCA Athletics The University of South Carolina Aiken, an NCAA Division II Institution and member of the Peach Belt Conference, is seeking a Head Baseball Coach. The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for providing coaching expertise, leadership, management, rules compliance and administration of all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division II program resulting in a positive and beneficial intercollegiate experience for student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred:
Master’s degree. Minimum five years of collegiate coaching experience. Experience in NCAA DI or DII and recruiting experience in southeast region. This is a 12.0 month full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 35 Job Duty Conduct all aspects of the program within the rules, regulations, compliance and procedures of the NCAA, Peach Belt Conference, Department of Athletics policy manual and the University’s processes and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of all eligibility and recruiting requirements for NCAA, PBC and USCA admissions standards. Maintain accountability for scholarship limits. Manage all recruiting efforts and make scholarship recommendations. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Manage the program within the approved annual budget, including uniforms, equipment, team travel, recruiting, officials, game operations and administrative costs. Schedule all contests and team travel in accordance with PBC and NCAA guidelines and within approved budgetary limits.
