Full Job Description Overview:
The Charleston Collegiate Baseball League is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Head Coach to lead one of our collegiate summer teams for the 2025 season. This league is designed to provide current college players with high-level competition, structured development, and meaningful reps in a player-first environment. As Head Coach, you will be responsible for overseeing team operations, leading practices and games, developing athletes, and helping facilitate a positive and competitive summer experience. You will work closely with league administrators and follow league-wide developmental guidelines to ensure athletes stay healthy and on track for their college seasons.

Seasonal (June 1 – July 18, 2025)
Compensation:
Stipend (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all team activities including practices, games, and workouts (3-4 games/week, 2 practices/week) Manage game strategy, lineups, and pitching usage within league guidelines Foster a competitive and positive team environment Communicate with players and league staff regularly Ensure athletes are progressing in their development throughout the season
Qualifications:
Prior coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, or professional level required Strong knowledge of the game and player development principles Ability to manage a full team and maintain a positive, accountable culture Excellent communication and leadership skills Availability from June 1 through July 18, 2025 College or professional playing experience preferred
