Job Description
High Performance Tennis Coach 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 1 Sanctuary Beach Dr, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 This position is to work within all aspects of the resort teaching operation, with a main focus on working with the Barth Hawtin Tennis Academy (BHTA) program. This program is 20+ hours of instruction for high level juniors looking to play in college. A strong background in player development is required. Applicant must be willing to do tournament travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach academy group sessions, private lessons, adult and junior clinics, as well as adult and junior camps. Able to travel to tournaments to coach academy players. Responsible for 4 to 6 hours of tennis court maintenance and racquet stringing. Always exude an outgoing and pleasant personality and should enjoy working with people. Be self-motivated and exhibit excellent communication skills. Must work both independently and in a team environment. Follow and support Service Commitment and Core Values. All other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Division I College playing experience preferred. UTR playing level 10+ Previous teaching experience required. Flexible availability is required to be available for guests’ scheduling needs. Must possess excellent organizational skills. Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written. Must be able to pass a background check.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry minimum weight of 50 lbs. across short-medium distances. Must be able to stand for the entirety of shift while reaching, bending and stooping. Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements. Must be able to work in a fast paced, intense work environment, sometimes under extreme heat and stress.
