We anticipate having teams at the 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, and 16U levels. The ideal candidate will have college-level play experience and experience playing club volleyball. Previous coaching experience is not required. This role involves training players, organizing practices, ensuring a positive and competitive environment, and attending and coaching at all scheduled tournaments. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance players’ skills and performance. Conduct regular practices focusing on individual techniques, team strategies, and game tactics. Foster a supportive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players. Monitor athletes’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Organize and oversee competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations. Pay Coaches will be retained as contractors, not employees. For head coaches we will be paying $20 per hour for practices, plus $80 for each tournament day (plus meals and travel expenses); and for assistant coaches we will be paying $15 per hour for practices plus $60 for each tournament day (plus meals and travel expenses). We anticipate our teams practicing 3 days per week (2 hours per practice) and we anticipate playing in 7 tournaments (with most of them being two days). Our season runs from after Thanksgiving to April. Coaches will be required to meet all USAV qualification requirements and complete all USAV required training.
