POSITION SUMMARY

Robertsville Middle School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head Girls Basketball Coach to lead one of the premier girls basketball programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the sport, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to positively influence student-athletes both on and off the court.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Success head coaching experience preferred; hoever, outstanding assistant coaches with proven potential will be considered.
Years of coaching experience preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong knowledge of all aspects of the game of basketball.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to students, colleagues, and the community.
Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
Ability to lead and develop a comprehensive, competitive basketball program.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the girls basketball program.
Oversee team member selection, practice planning, training, and game preparation.
Supervise and mentor student-athletes to promote academic and athletic success.
Coordinate the procurment, inventory, and care of all basketball equipment.
Commit to afternoon and evening hours as required for practices, games, and team activities.
Collaborate with school administration and work under the direction of the Principal.
