POSITION OVERVIEW
Nashville SC is hiring part-time, youth soccer coaches for youth summer camps, clinics, and other programs in the Nashville area throughout the calendar year. Coaches must have a passion for the game and the ability to channel it in a positive manner for coaching youth players of all levels. Ideally, candidates will be looking to grow their coaching careers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
In-person coaching and program administration for camps and clinics Ability to create and execute a fun and creative training curriculum Create an inclusive atmosphere for all athletes while ensuring safety and well-being of those athletes Assist with set-up and breakdown of events Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent education Experience in playing and coaching soccer Experience working with youth Must have SafeSport certification Strong communication skills; both verbal and written communication Must be self-motivated and passionate about coaching soccer Must be ambitious and interested in growing and developing within coaching professional Excellent organizational skills and attentional to detail Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to prioritize Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Ability to make sound decisions and exercise discretion with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environment Ability to coach all levels of youth soccer players Background check and drug screening is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Various weather conditions including extreme heat and inclement weather Work varies based on schedule and business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasional bending, lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to demonstrate techniques and certain training exercises as needed.
