The Director of Sports Performance is responsible for the physical preparation of all student athletes, maintaining Sports Performance equipment upkeep, budget, and performance technology as well as liaison to the cafeteria staff and performance staff professional development.
Functional Description:

Sports Performance Coaches play an important role in instilling character development in student athletes by modelling and coaching Christ-like behavior and Christian values while striving for competitive excellence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees Associate Director of Sports Performance, Assistant Performance Coaches, GA’s and interns.
Education:
Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience:
3-5+ years of college coaching
Required Skills:
Nationally Accredited Certification, CPR & AED.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 75+lbs on a regular basis. Must be physically capable of demonstrating various athletic movements including running, jumping and lifting etc.
General Information:
The Director of Sports Performance is responsible for the overseeing of the training of all student athletes including strength training, speed/agility training, conditioning, and injury prevention/rehabilitation. The Director is responsible for both KSAC and MSAC weightroom equipment management and upkeep as well as maintaining the Sports Performance budget. The Director is responsible for the application and analysis of the performance technology. The Director is the liaison with the cafeteria to the athletic department. The Director oversees the education and professional development of Sports Performance Staff.
