Job Purpose
This position is to teach in a variety of undergraduate and graduate communication courses including interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, health communication, rhetoric, and/or organizational communication, and be committed to the continued improvement of teaching using research-based practices. Willingness to teach on-line is required. Experience coaching debate and forensics is preferred. Ability to teach classes in argumentation and debate and/or persuasion preferred. Practice/training in teaching online and/or hybrid classes preferred. Ability to teach and/or conduct research in Artificial Intelligence preferred. Teaching load is 4/4 including one (3-hour) course reduction for both the Fall and Spring semesters for serving as Debate and Forensics Coach.

Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2025.
