Temporary Job Summary University High School at ETSU is currently searching for a High School Head Baseball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the high school baseball program. This includes not only individual and team skill development, but also character development and providing direction to student-athletes so they might improve as players while developing an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in baseball. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. The coach will be expected to attend all practices, games, and team events. Additionally, the coach will be expected to coordinate practice times, schedules, and games with the athletics directors. The coach will also be expected to operate under all TSSAA, ETSU, and Washington County rules and regulations. The Head Coach will report directly to the athletics directors and school administration. All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding.
