Temporary Job Summary University High School at ETSU is currently accepting applications for the High School Head Boys Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the high school boys basketball program. This includes not only individual and team skill development, but also character development and providing direction to student-athletes so that they improve as players, as well as developing an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in basketball. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. The coach will be expected to attend all practices, games, and team events. Additionally, the coach will be expected to coordinate practice times, schedules, and games with the Athletics Director. The coach will also be expected to operate under all TSSAA, ETSU, and Washington County rules and regulations. The Head Coach will report directly to the Athletics Director and school administration. All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding ETSU is an equal opportunity employer
