The ideal candidate will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the basketball program, serve as a Christian role model for student-athletes, and help cultivate a team culture centered on character, discipline, and faith.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in organizing and conducting practices, drills, and game plans in coordination with the Head Coach Mentor and develop student-athletes spiritually, academically, and athletically Promote and uphold the school’s Christian values and athletic code of conduct Maintain open communication with players, parents, and school administration Ensure safety and proper use of facilities and equipment

Qualifications:

A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with the school’s faith-based mission Previous coaching experience at the high school level preferred Knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and safety protocols Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to pass background checks and meet school employment standards CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching or mentoring experience with high school-aged children Degree or coursework in physical education, coaching, or related field Experience working in a Christian educational environment
