As a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet for over 40 years, our mission is to partner with families in developing students to think, lead, and live as Christians based upon a biblical worldview.
Purpose :
Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School Head Football Coach to lead our football program for grades 5-8. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who demonstrates strong character, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to Christian values. This individual will work closely with the athletic department to build a program that fosters teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game.
Qualifications:
A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with the school’s faith-based mission Previous coaching experience at the middle school level or higher preferred Knowledge of football rules, techniques, and safety protocols Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to pass background checks and meet school employment standards CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching or mentoring experience with middle school-aged children Degree or coursework in physical education, coaching, or related field Experience working in a Christian educational environment
