Northwest Valley ‘Jays Youth Field Hockey Head Coach(Grades 3-6) Swanton Recreation Commission 16 Jewett Street, Swanton, VT 05488 The Northwest Valley ‘Jays program competes with the Green Mountain Field Hockey Club at UVM. We are currently looking for coaches for a 7th/8th grade head coach. The team is made up of kids in grades 3rd-6th.

• Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Field Hockey Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Field Hockey and coaching, with the ability to motivate and inspire players to achieve their best performance.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective training programs for Field Hockey players
• Teach players the fundamentals of Field Hockey techniques, strategies, and rules
• Plan and organize practice sessions to improve player skills and teamwork
• Analyze player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Motivate and inspire players to work hard, stay disciplined, and exhibit good sportsmanship
• Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and parents to ensure a positive team environment

• Skills:

• Strong background in Field Hockey coaching
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of Field Hockey techniques, strategies, and rules
• Ability to motivate and inspire players
• Experience in behavior management
