Job Description The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Montgomery Regional Medical Campus is seeking applications for full-time Internal Medicine physicians for annually-renewable, non-tenure earning Assistant Professor faculty position. Primary duties include approximately six-months of attending on the General Medicine Service at Baptist Medical Center South and precepting in the Internal Medicine resident clinic. Additionally, the position involves formal teaching responsibilities for both the Montgomery Internal Medicine Residency Program and for UAB School of Medicine third- and fourth-year medical students. Faculty cover approximately eight weekends per year and do not have in-house night call. While opportunities for research are available, research effort is not a requirement of the position. Salary will be commensurate with rank, experience and qualifications.
