invites applications for a full-time (9-month), non-tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Instruction
position in Sociology, starting August 15, 2025. A Ph.D. in Sociology or a closely related field is
required by time of appointment. We encourage applications from any area of Sociology but
especially applicants with expertise in environmental sociology, social movements, medical
sociology, sociological theory, and/or gerontology.
