Uses teaching and learning strategies that reflect each student’s culture, learning styles, special needs, and socio-economic background. Uses an understanding of learning and human development to provide a positive learning environment, which supports the intellectual, personal, and social development of all students. Demonstrates knowledge and understandings of the subject matter. Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master degree in Nursing and be licensed in Florida or eligible for licensure in Florida.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED

: Three years experience nursing (acute care preferred). Ability to present information in a coherent manner and the ability to evaluate students and program. Ability to focus on student retention, progression, and success. Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Computer literacy with Canvas or similar learning management system; two years teaching experience in higher education.
