DEPARTMENT OF UROLOGY UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI SCHOOL OF MEDICINE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CLINICAL UROLOGY JOB DESCRIPTION
Functions as a member of the full-time faculty of the Department of Urology reporting directly to the Chairman with the following specific responsibilities: Function as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics including responsibility for coverage of inpatient cases and operating room supervision of residents as well as outpatient clinics in the Ambulatory Care Center. Perform clinical activity through the University of Miami Clinical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan, both inpatient and outpatient (private and/or public funded patients) including surgical activity at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics as well as outpatient activity at the Urology Clinic at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics/Sylvester Cancer Center Clinic, University of Miami Hospital (UMH) and other affiliated/approved hospitals.
Requirements:
M.D. from accredited medical school, completion of approved urology residency training program, licensed or eligible for Florida license to practice medicine, Board-certified/Board-eligible in urology.
