Job Details Position Summary The Department of Environmental Health Science in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position. The position is a 12 month appointment. Duties include instruction, advising, research, and service. As a member of the faculty, you also will be expected to contribute to the department, college, and university by serving on committees and contributing the outreach and student recruiting , as well as other professional service activities that align with your expertise. The position is a fiscal year (12 month) appointment, focused on instruction, and is not on the tenure track. The successful candidate will be required to teach 27 credit-hours of instruction per year (90% effort), including online courses. There is a 5% time-commitment for research and a 5% service commitment required. Additional research effort can be accommodated through successful extramural funding and instructional buyout. Administrative duties related to the undergraduate or graduate programs (e.g., undergraduate coordinator) are available and include commensurate reduction in instruction.
