Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2026. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities
Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in areas such as FinTech innovation, digital payments, blockchain technologies, AI applications in finance, financial cybersecurity, and related topics.
Research and scholarship in information systems.
Professional service to the Department, College, and University.
The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications
A doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Management Science, or a related discipline, is required.

Required degree must be earned by start date. Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with a doctorate degree earned from an AACSB accredited college/school.
Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).
Documentation of FinTech teaching.
Record of research accomplishments.
