Description Job Overview:
The Department of Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician or clinician-educator tracks. The position involves a primary focus on Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (Mohs micrographic surgery) and providing high-quality health care services at Emory Dermatology Clinics. Among other duties, a successful candidate will be primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with skin cancer, including the practice of Mohs micrographic surgery.
Responsibilities:
Perform Mohs micrographic surgery and other dermatological procedures related to skin cancer treatment.
Diagnose and manage a variety of dermatologic conditions. Provide patient care in Emory Dermatology Clinics. Participate in teaching residents, medical students, and fellows dermatologic surgery and Mohs surgery techniques.
Engage in academic activities, including limited research activities, and contribute to the academic mission of the department.
Qualifications:
Board-certified Dermatology.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (Mohs micrographic surgery).
M.D., D.O., M.D./Ph.D., or D.O./Ph.D. degree.
Demonstrate excellent clinical abilities, particularly in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.
Experience and interest in the teaching of students, residents, and/or fellows.
Strong commitment to patient care, education, and operational excellence.

Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion.
