Job ID Position # The Department of Otolaryngology in the Medical College of Gia at Augusta University (AU) is seeking a parttime faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor that will work a . FTE at AU and a . FTE at Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center for abined . FTE. All AU faculty with VA appointments are subject to the policies of the University System of Gia, and AU’s only obligation is to that portion of the FTE and salary which is AU. This position does not meet the requirements to be on a tenure track. Responsibilities
Teaching
Educate Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residents and medical students in the OR and clinical office.
ClinicalPatient Care
Care for Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery patients.
Scholarship
Perform research in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Other
All other related dutiestasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university required. Boardcertified or board certified eligible and havepleted fellowship training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Must be able to obtain a Gia Medical License..
Assistant Professor Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training.
