Physics Young Harris College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in physics or physical sciences, beginning August 1, 2025 (preferred, or January 1, 2026). The applicant will possess a Ph.D. in physics, physical sciences, or a related field such as atmospheric science, astronomy, geology, or engineering. The successful applicant will primarily teach courses in algebra-based and calculus-based physics, as well as other courses related to their specialty. Young Harris College is primarily a teaching institution, so the ideal candidate should be skilled and enthusiastic at teaching at the college level. Applicants should include a two-page cover letter that highlights their experience and teaching philosophy, a curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts, and contact information for three references.
