Job Duties Responsibility / Duty Teaching
This position supports and complements existing course offerings in the history of art. Candidate will assist with the development of the art history curriculum. All courses are at the undergraduate level. The department offers a NASAD accredited BFA in Art (a concentration in Art History is one of several degree paths) and provides service courses in support of General Education requirements. 4-4 teaching load to include the following classes: Ancient Art, Renaissance Art, Non-Western Art, readings/methods in the discipline, upper-level courses in area of specialization (pre 18th century), and/or Art Appreciation/Fine Arts survey courses for non-majors. Specialization or experience teaching courses outside the Western tradition desirable but not required. Experience with online teaching preferred. Percentage Of Time 60
