JOB DESCRIPTION

The College of Education and Human Development is structured into three Schools. This current position falls under the School of Kinesiology, Physical Education and Athletic Training. The programs within this School include: Exercise Science, Physical Education/Health Teacher Preparation, Athletic Training and Outdoor Leadership. This position’s responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will also be expected to pursue a focused research agenda resulting in external funding, publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presentations at the national and international level. Qualifications:
Required:

a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology or closely related field by the date of hire; demonstrated research skills and a clearly articulated research agenda; evidence of a commitment to working collegially with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
excellent oral, and written communication skills.

Preferred:

Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level; Experience with multiple teaching modalities;
Experience with laboratory equipment related to the study of exercise physiology, (metabolic cart, etc)
Evidence of commitment to issues of diversity and multicultural education.
