Job Description
The Department of Management in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro ( UNCG ) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for one full-time faculty opening in the Department of Management. The position will commence on August 1, 2026, at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track). This opening is in Business Strategy; a secondary interest in International Business is a plus. The selected candidate must be prepared to teach face-to-face and online courses, depending on the Department’s needs. Minimum Qualifications Applicants should hold a PhD degree from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school in Business Strategy OR Business Administration or Management with a focus on Business Strategy OR another closely related discipline. ABDs who expect completion by August 1, 2026, may be considered. Preferred Qualification Related teaching experience and evidence of successful high-quality refereed journal scholarship will be considered favorably. The ability to tie one’s teaching and research to key elements of our mission (problem-solving, innovation, globalization, sustainability, and ethics) will also be considered positively.
