Job Description

Visiting Assistant Professor of Management Position Purpose The primary objective of this remote position is to teach online management courses that support New England College’s graduate management programs. Additional responsibilities include developing and updating online programs and courses, maintaining ACBSP accreditation, and participating in regular assessments. Candidates must have demonstrated evidence of teaching ability, knowledge, and application of effective and innovative pedagogy, the capacity to work with graduate and undergraduate student populations and faculty, and a commitment to active learning and experiential education. Essential Duties Summary Teach graduate MBA and IT Project Management courses such as Leadership & Change in Organizations, Marketing Strategies, Accounting for Leaders, Strategic Project Management, AI in Project Management, Operation Planning & Policy, and Security Management for Project Leaders. Participate in new program development, update courses, and create content for executive residences. Mentor adjunct faculty and support new faculty orientations. Support admission events and advise students. Expand employer and industry relationships. Support special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Demonstrated evidence of successful teaching at the graduate level. Adept at teaching courses in hybrid, online, and asynchronous modalities. Experience with online course development to create relevant and engaging student experiences. Earned terminal degree in a business discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in a specialty area. Preferred Qualifications Professional business or project management industry certifications and/or related industry experience. Established industry network. Active research and professional development interests. Demonstrated ability to work in a team to achieve project goals.
