Job Description
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum requirements include: By June 1, 2026, hold a doctorate degree in urban planning, geography, public policy, or a related discipline, with a focus and specialized interest in housing and quantitative methods.
The ideal candidate should:
Be clearly establishing a research profile of refereed research in high-impact journals and through national and international conference presentations. Demonstrate hands-on experiences and skills in using and teaching quantitative methods. Demonstrate willingness to secure external grant funds and the ability to be a team leader on funded research supporting and supervising undergraduate and graduate students and eventually postdoctoral associates. Demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching, with knowledge of inclusive and active teaching practices. Experience with studio teaching is a plus. Demonstrate a willingness to network with external stakeholders and to communicate with the public via social media and other sources.
