Job Description:
The Massry School of Business seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor in the field of Quantitative Finance to teach courses in the School’s masters and undergraduate programs. The appointment is for the academic year 2025-2026, with the possibility of renewal for
AY2026-2027.
The default load is three courses each semester, but a load reduction is possible for a candidate who makes a credible and significant commitment to scholarly research output. The ability to teach financial technology (FinTech) concepts and expose students to digital-finance tools is highly desirable, as is contributing to the diversity of the Department’s expertise.
Applicants are requested to submit a CV, research statement, evidence of teaching abilities, and three letters of recommendation. Applications received by June 10, 2025 are guaranteed to receive full consideration, though we will continue to review applications thereafter as needed.
Located on the uptown campus, the Department has six full-time and four part-time members. It is housed in the Massry School of Business, which offers degrees at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have finished or be close to submitting their dissertation by the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester from a university accredited by a USDOE or international accrediting organization.
Applicants should have demonstrated the ability to teach successfully in a university setting.
Applicants should have demonstrated the ability to work with and instruct culturally diverse groups of people.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with financial technology and bringing those themes and skills into the student classroom experience.
