Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine – Rheumatology Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, seeks a dynamic and accomplished clinician to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. We seek a board-certified rheumatologist passionate about patient care to provide comprehensive rheumatologic services to our diverse patient population. The Division of Rheumatology at Columbia University Medical Center is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, conducting groundbreaking research, and training future rheumatology leaders. With a century-long history of excellence, the division focuses on improving patients’ lives with rheumatic diseases through clinical innovation, basic and translational research, and comprehensive education programs. By integrating medicine, science, and education, the division aims to develop novel treatments and advance the field of rheumatology.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients with a wide range of rheumatic diseases. Contribute to the teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in scholarly activities, including clinical research or quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues within the Division of Rheumatology and across the medical center Columbia University Irving Medical Center offers a stimulating academic environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for professional growth.
