Assistant Professor of Practice, MSW Program, School of Social Work (#1371) Position Available In Lackawanna, Pennsylvania

The School of Social Work at Marywood University (Scranton, PA) is seeking applicants for the Assistant Professor of Practice (POP) position for the MSW Program.

Position descriptions:

Responsibilities Teach 8 courses in an academic year.
Teach courses in Scranton and Lehigh Valley MSW Programs.
Service to the Program, University, and profession.
Advise and mentor MSW students. Minimum Requirements PhD, DSW preferred.
MSW from an accredited program.
5 years practice experience post MSW.
Social Work Licensure
Prior teaching experience preferred The primary responsibility of the position is teaching in the MSW Program. The specific course options would be based on the expertise of the individual and the availability of the courses. Courses can include any of the following: Social Work Research, Foundations SW Practice and Advanced SW Practice, Administration and Policy. Review will begin immediately and will continue until filled. Position to begin August 18, 2025.
