The Department of Finance in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking a practitioner faculty member in the area of business analytics with a preferred start date of August 1, 2025. A practitioner is defined as a full-time contract faculty member who has specialized and significant training, kledge, skills,petencies, and experience in a particular field relevant to a departmental or programmatic need. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to teach an introductory-level undergraduate course in applied data applications for business. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in practice-oriented activities consistent with the standards of AACSB, and to engage in service activities for the school and the college.

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to teach an introductory-level undergraduate course in applied data applications for business. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in practice-oriented activities consistent with the standards of AACSB, and to engage in service activities for the school and the college.
Education and Experience
A minimum of a master’s degree in data or business analytics, or a related field, from an AACSB-accredited institution is required.
