Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science
Charleston Southern University Position Overview The College of Science and Mathematics at Charleston Southern University is seeking applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science position. One tenure track faculty position in Computer Science to begin Aug 1, 2025. Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate computer science courses, emphasizing areas such as AI, cybersecurity, or related fields.

  • Conduct research and supervise student research projects.
  • Engage in academic advising and mentorship of students.
  • Serve on university committees and contribute to the broader academic community.
  • Support departmental initiatives and engage in collaborative curriculum development.

Qualifications A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Expertise or demonstrated experience in AI, cybersecurity, or similar specializations preferred.
