Continuous Job Details Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology The Department of Biology in the Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for one visiting non-tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2025. This is a 9-month position paid out over 12 months and is renewable on an annual basis for up to a total of 3 years, depending on department needs and available funds. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field by the time of appointment and be comfortable teaching lectures and labs in the areas of genetics, cell, and organismal biology. Applicants with university level experience teaching first-year biology curriculum are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include teaching four (4) courses per semester. As part of a successful interview process, candidates will be expected to provide a demonstration of teaching effectiveness that highlights active learning.
