Continuous Job Details Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering Science The Department of Physics and Engineering Science in the Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for one visiting non-tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2025 in support of its Engineering Science program. This is a 9-month position paid out over 12 months and is renewable on an annual basis for up to a total of 3 years, depending on department needs and available funds. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related fields by the time of appointment and be comfortable teaching courses in the areas of electrical circuits, signals & systems, electronics, electric power, or renewable energy. Interdisciplinary qualifications or experience is preferred. Industrial experience and/or a P.E. license are desirable. As part of a successful interview process, candidates will be expected to provide a demonstration of teaching effectiveness that highlights active learning.
