ASSISTANT

PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Allen University, located in Columbia, South Carolina, continues to evolve into a premier Historically
Black College and University (HBCU). We seek dedicated faculty to pursue “all that can be imagined.”
Allen University is looking for candidates to fill full-time positions at the rank of Assistant Professor of
Business Administration, starting in Fall 2025.

PREFERRED AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

A doctorate in Business Administration, with a concentration in one of the following areas –
Management, Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, Operations Management, or
a related field- is required by August 1, 2025. A.B.D. applicants are also encouraged to apply.

Experience:

One or more years of successful teaching experience. Ability to teach at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels. Online teaching experience, training, and/or certification are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and student-centered instruction.
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching, research, and university service.
• Demonstrated evidence of incorporating technology in courses to engage diverse learners.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with students to support their progress in completing their
  degree.

experience.
