Description:
As Allen University continues to evolve into the best HBCU in South Carolina, we seek dedicated
faculty to join us in pursuit of All That Can Be Imagined.
This position is responsible for teaching classes, advising, and mentoring students as well as working with colleagues and administrators to support student outcomes. Faculty are expected to evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with university and procedures.
Faculty must meet Minimum Faculty Standards for hire and adhere to university and
procedures. The professor must promote, develop, and deliver quality education programs with
the intent to retain students to graduate on and successful student learning outcomes each term.
PREFERRED AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
PhD/Doctorate in Mathematics, Computer Science and/or related disciplines. Experience teaching at college/university level.
Typical Working Conditions:
Faculty are expected to facilitate instruction utilizing a variety of
formats including but not limited to traditional, hybrid, remote and online. Faculty must
maintain a classroom environment which is conducive to student learning and retention.
