Job Description Tennessee State University Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology invites applications for a 12-month tenure track position; rank and salary are commensurate with experience. This position begins July 1, 2025. Responsibilities include teaching graduate/undergraduate level online and on-land courses, assisting with the academic and clinical management of the online and on-land formats of the graduate program, providing various levels of clinical supervision upon request, engaging in scholarly/research activities, and advising and mentoring students. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must possess a doctorate degree in speech-language pathology, speech and hearing science, communication disorders, or a related area. The applicant must possess the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology and be eligible for Tennessee State Health Board Licensure. The applicant must also have experience/expertise in one or more of the following area(s): motor speech disorders, aphasia, speech science and instrumentation, and aural rehabilitation. Experience with hybrid or on-line delivery modes is desired but not required. Candidates should have outstanding management and interpersonal skills to relate to diverse faculty members, staff, and students .
