Specific requirements for the position include: Minimum degree of Ed.

Eighteen hours of course work at the master’s level or above in Teacher Education, Secondary Education, Instructional Technology, or Curriculum and Instruction
Evidence of effective teaching in higher education and/or K-12 schools
Evidence of effective collaboration with stakeholders
Evidence of effective data driven decision making Certified under TEAM teacher evaluation system Responsibilities include: Teaching Secondary Education courses in both baccalaureate and master’s programs
Coordinating the secondary education program including advisement of secondary education students in collaboration with content area advisors
Coordinating and develop partnerships with local education associations
Coordinating students’ clinical internship and/or field experiences
Serving on university committees
Supervising students using TEAM assessment
Participating in TDOE report writing and data collection
Participating in recruitment and retention activities
