Faculty Job Summary The Department of Music is seeking applications for a nine-month Assistant Professor of Composition, Theory, and Aural Skills. The successful candidate will oversee the Composition degree programs that the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as the Composition minor. Course assignments will include composition, applied composition, music theory, and aural skills. The candidate may perform other departmental duties as assigned by the chair. Additionally, the person in this position will be responsible for coordinating with other faculty teaching in the composition, theory, and aural skills areas to ensure curricular standards. Doctorate in Theory or Composition, ABD acceptable for application, but the doctorate must be completed by August 15, 2025
