Overview:

Blanket Fort Hope is seeking a dedicated and mission-minded Education Liaison to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the academic growth and personal development of each girl in our care. Our group home provides long-term, trauma-informed, Christ-centered care for girls ages 12-18 who have survived or are at high risk of child trafficking. The Education Liaison works to ensure every resident receives individualized educational services that align with her unique needs, healing journey, and future goals. Rooted in Christian values and trauma-informed practices, this position serves as a bridge between residents, schools, tutors, and the Blanket Fort Hope team to foster a restorative, hope-filled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess each child’s educational level upon entering the program to develop an appropriate academic plan. Advocate for and coordinate educational services that reflect each resident’s academic level, emotional needs, and long-term goals. Collaborate with local schools, tutors, and alternative education providers to ensure consistent access to learning opportunities. Track and monitor academic progress, helping residents set and achieve personalized educational milestones. Maintain accurate records of educational plans, assessments, progress reports, and testing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or a related field required Strong organizational and communication skills. Passion for working with children who have experienced trauma. Commitment to Christian values and a willingness to serve in a faith-centered environment.
