•Connecticut College Represent the College and provide information and counseling to prospective students, families, counselors and others through interviews, group presentations, and phone and email communications Manage a defined recruitment territory; plan and conduct travel to visit high schools, attend college fairs and conferences, and connect with prospective students Review applications individually and in committee settings, recommend candidates for admission, and serve on admission selection committees Maintain and increase the selectivity, quality and diversity of the applicant pool and matriculants through a variety of recruitment and yield activities Manage a portfolio of specific admission programs and projects assigned by the Director and/or Dean Assist in the planning and implementation of student recruitment strategies and contribute to the development of new and creative admission programs Build and maintain relationships with community partners including current students, faculty, administrators, alumni and the public to support recruitment and yield activities Prepare statistical and area reports including appropriate recommendations or conclusions Interpret educational policy and institutional mission of the College to perpetuate its intellectual quality Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
