Development Coordinator Rocky Bayou Christian School 2101 Partin Drive North, Niceville, FL 32578 Development Coordinator Full-time, 12-month position; Salaries range between $34,000 to $54,000. Pay adjusted based on experience and degrees. Full benefit package as well as tuition benefits.

Job Description :

The Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive fundraising and donor relations program to support the mission and vision of Rocky Bayou Christian School (RBCS). This position works to strengthen financial support through annual giving, capital campaigns, grants, alumni relations, and community partnerships. The Development Coordinator plays a key role in donor stewardship, fundraising communications, and event coordination while collaborating closely with the advancement team and volunteers.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of financial reconciliation processes preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

A strong, clear Christian testimony, acknowledging Jesus Christ as Savior, and seeking to live as His disciple Must be a member/regular attender at a local Trinitarian church A demonstrated acceptance without reservation of the Rocky Bayou Christian School Statement of Faith A mature, godly spirit that desires spiritual growth as evidenced by his/her prayer life, Bible study and spiritual outreach to others A Christian role-model (Luke 6:40) in attitude, speech, and actions toward others. This includes being committed to God’s biblical standards for sexual conduct Must enroll any school aged children in Rocky Bayou Christian School or other approved Christian education venue Must complete the Philosophy of Christian Education course provided by

Rocky Bayou Christian School Job Responsibilities:

Manage ongoing communications and engagement with donors (excluding major donors), including emails, Zoom calls, phone follow-ups, and on-campus visits. Donor Relations, database management, endowment and annual fund solicitations Identify grants and pursue grant opportunities relevant to the school’s mission. Complete all applications, reporting and post award documentation as required Plan and coordinate development-related events including donor appreciation events, fundraising galas, and community engagement activities. The Event Coordinator will assist with this responsibility. Lead and support alumni engagement efforts, including establishing reunion traditions and outreach plan. Provide oversight and institutional support to the Parent Volunteer Organization (PVO), ensuring alignment with school needs and development goals. Rocky Bayou is a drug-free workplace.
