Job Description
Description We are looking for a meticulous and customer-focused Admissions Representative to join our team in Boynton Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing exceptional service and accurate information. This position requires flexibility, as it includes evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist prospective students by providing detailed information about programs, admissions requirements, and application processes.
- Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email, ensuring prompt and precise communication.
- Follow structured communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all student interactions and update databases as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other software tools, including Campus Cafe, to manage admissions tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve enrollment targets and provide a seamless admissions experience.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective students to address questions and encourage enrollment.
- Provide support for admissions events and activities, including virtual or in-person sessions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures throughout the admissions process.
- Stay informed about program updates and changes to relay accurate information to students. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and related experience may substitute.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with admissions software, preferably Campus Cafe.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proven ability to follow structured scripts and adapt to different communication styles.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree and experience in educational sales or recruitment are preferred.
