Department Information Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President Job Summary Columbus State University (CSU) seeks a dynamic and experienced Director of QEP to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). This role will be instrumental in advancing CSU’s student success efforts to improve retention, persistence, and degree completion. Reporting to the Director of Accreditation and Compliance, the Director will collaborate closely with the Assistant Vice President for Student Success as well as with faculty, staff, and administrators to align student success initiatives with CSU’s mission, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Significant Duties and Responsibilities include: QEP Leadership & Implementation – Lead the execution of CSU’s QEP, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and institutional goals. Oversee the assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement of QEP-related initiatives, ensuring compliance with SACSCOC accreditation requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between CSU and accrediting bodies regarding QEP progress and outcomes. Develop and implement strategies to enhance student learning, engagement, and success through structured academic and career pathways.; Program Development & Administration – Coordinate with academic departments, advising, career services, and faculty to design and refine clear academic and career pathways for students. Lead efforts to integrate Designing Your Life (DYL) principles into CSU’s student experience, from orientation through graduation. Ensure alignment between the QEP, First-Year Experience, Corequisite Learning Support, and other student success programs. Oversee professional development opportunities for faculty and staff related to student success and pathway development.; Data-Driven Decision Making & Assessment – Utilize data analytics to measure the impact of the QEP and student success initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement. Develop and maintain a system for tracking student retention, graduation rates, and time-to-degree metrics. Provide reports, presentations, and updates on QEP progress to university leadership and stakeholders.; Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with faculty, advisors, student support services, and administrators to ensure coordinated student success efforts. Engage with external partners, including K-12 institutions, employers, and community organizations, to support career exploration and workforce alignment. Lead campus-wide communication and outreach related to the QEP and student success initiatives.

Required Qualifications Required Qualifications include:

Master’s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, educational leadership, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).; Minimum of 5 years of experience in student success, academic advising, or related areas.; Experience with assessment, accreditation processes (SACSCOC preferred), or data analysis for program evaluation.; Strong leadership, project management, and collaboration skills.; Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing Designing Your Life (DYL) or other career development frameworks.; Preferred ICF Coaching certification or willingness to obtain the certification.; Knowledge of high-impact practices (HIPs), learning communities, and experiential learning strategies.; Familiarity with student success technologies, such as Target X, Degree Works, or similar platforms.; Experience with SACSCOC Quality Enhancement Plan and the requirements associated.
