$51.8K – $63K a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Marketing Event planning Mid-level 3 years Project management Bachelor’s degree Fundraising Communications Communication skills Full Job Description Associate Director of Alumnae and Parents Relations The Associate Director of Alumnae and Parent Relations is responsible for fostering strong relationships between Ursuline Academy and its alumnae, parents, and broader community. This role supports the Academy’s advancement efforts by engaging stakeholders through meaningful programming, volunteer opportunities, and communications that strengthen lifelong connections and philanthropic support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Alumnae Engagement Develop and implement programs that cultivate relationships with alumnae, increasing their engagement with the Academy. In collaboration with the special events manager, plan and execute alumnae events, including Homecoming, class reunions, and chapter city gatherings. Manage the Alumnae Association, working closely with its Board leadership to enhance participation and outreach. Work closely with the advancement data specialist to maintain accurate alumnae records Coordinate with communications team on alumnae communications, including newsletters, social media, and web content. Identify and cultivate alumnae for volunteer roles, mentorship programs, and philanthropic giving. Parent Engagement Serve as a liaison between the Academy and Parents’ Club to foster a sense of community and involvement. Coordinate parent volunteer opportunities for school events, fundraising initiatives, and community-building programs. Support the Parents’ Club, providing guidance on events, communications, and engagement strategies. Coordinate communications to keep parents informed about school initiatives and opportunities for involvement. Collaborate with special events manager on Parents’ Club events. Volunteer Relations Recruit, train, and steward volunteers to support events, programs, and fundraising efforts. Maintain a comprehensive volunteer database and track participation and impact. Develop recognition and appreciation strategies to acknowledge volunteer contributions. Collaborate with staff and faculty to identify volunteer needs and align opportunities with institutional priorities. Ensure that volunteer programs reflect and support Ursuline’s mission and values.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience working in a school setting. Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in alumnae relations, parent engagement, fundraising, or volunteer relations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse constituencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Event planning and project management experience. Knowledge of fundraising principles and donor cultivation strategies is a plus. Proficiency in CRM systems, email marketing, and social media platforms.
