GENERAL SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Director of College Advancement, the Major Gifts Officer is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding constituents to generate major gifts in support of the mission and development strategy of Labouré College of Healthcare. This is an exciting time to join Labouré ‘s development team as we begin to re-energize giving and increase visibility with a comprehensive fundraising campaign. Labouré’s case for support is a compelling one. We serve low-income, multicultural, adult students pursuing careers in nursing and healthcare. Labouré graduates are creating racial and cultural representation in the Massachusetts nursing workforce on a scale unmatched in New England. This profoundly affects health equity and racism in healthcare delivery, while alleviating the local nursing and healthcare shortage. At Labouré, we are making a difference in the lives of our students and the thousands of patients they will care for. If you are passionate about supporting traditionally underserved students and immigrants in earning a degree, achieving financial independence through career education, breaking cycles of poverty for Greater Boston families, and achieving representation and health equity in our state, you will find this position very rewarding.
