Job Summary:
- The Associate Director of Housing and Residential Servicesprovides leadership for residence education, student conduct, andcommunity standards.
They foster a safe, inclusive, and cohesiveresidential community, supporting student success and engagement. Therole involves overseeing student conduct cases, crisis response,community programming, staff supervision, and collaboration with campusdepartments and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managedaily student conduct processes: review reports, assign cases, serve asa hearing officer, and handle appeals.
- Lead efforts to enforce policiesrelated to student behavior, including drug and alcohol issues.
- Serveas a member of the CARE team to address student welfare and behavioralconcerns.
- Respond to emergencies/crises on a rotating basis, includingafter-hours incidents.
- Collaborate with departments like AcademicAffairs, Student Affairs, and Public Safety on student retention andsuccess initiatives.
- Support and develop Residential LearningCommunities and student leadership programs.
- Oversee departmentalassessment, goal setting, and data analysis.
- Supervise staff, includinggraduate and support employees.
- Assist with planning and implementingcommunity programming and student engagement activities.
- Support campussafety and compliance with laws like FERPA, Title IX, and Clery.
- Assistin training staff and students, along with managing program development
- Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Director.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in student conduct,residential life, or student affairs.
- Strong knowledge of studentdevelopment, crisis management, and campus policies.
- Excellentinterpersonal, counseling, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability tohandle sensitive situations professionally and discretely.
- Familiaritywith laws and regulations such as FERPA, Title IX, and Clery Act
- Experience working with diverse student populations with a commitmentto equity and social justice.
- Excellent organizational and leadershipskills, with ability to manage multiple projects and staff.
- Ability towork collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external partners
- Satisfactory background check (CORI).
Preferred:
Master?s degree inHigher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, or arelated field.
